Categories
Judges will look for originality, creativity and workmanship. Your entry must be no more than two years old and fit one of these categories:
- Large Quilt perimeter 288" or more ( no more than 90" per side)
- Intermediate Quilt perimeter greater than 180" but less than 288"
- Small Quilt perimeter less than 160"
- Pictorial Quilt any quilt depicting real life
- Appliqué Quilt perimeter greater than 120" and 50% appliquéd
- Art Quilt any quilt that extends beyond traditional disciplines, and exercises progressive independence and originality in theory, color design and/or technique

To enter, send the form and a photo of your quilt accompanied by a SASE (for notification) before August 12, 2010 to:

Acceptance letters will be mailed by Aug. 18, 2010. All accepted quilts must be received by September 9, 2010. Quilts should be mailed to the above address or dropped off at a designated store. A 4" sleeve must be attached to the back of the quilt. A $15 nonrefundable registration fee is required with each entry form. One form per item, please. Promotional photography of the exhibit and use of the photographs at the discretion of NW Quilting Expo is permitted. There will be no restriction of photography of this piece by individuals for their own enjoyment.
