For the Love of Color

Here’s everything you always wanted to know about color but were afraid to ask! Using a wide range of fabrics, you will be introduced to a variety of color concepts. Learn all about value, tint, and tone, with simple easy-to-understand exercises. The quilt above, middle illustrates Melody’s use of color in quilts. In class you will make samples.)

includes 50 4" cotton fabric squares, color wheel. Please pay this fee to Melody in class.

Please bring: masking tape

flannel or cotton batting for the wall

paper and pencil for note taking

Melody is a nationally known fabric artist who loves all things shiny. Her award winning work has been shown in many juried shows and exhibitions. As an active promoter of every facet of the quilting world, Melody co-founded QuiltFest, and has judged and curated regional and national exhibitions. Melody brings her natural teaching ability and contagious enthusiasm to quilters across the country. Her popular lectures and workshops are always well received.
