Dresden Neighborhood

In this fun and easy twist on the traditional Dresden plate, you’ll create your very own neighborhood. Fun, funky, colorful, traditional, or seasonal, you decide! Simple to piece, this pattern uses lots of scraps and brings out your creative side. Creating one neighborhood makes a 24" by 24" wall-hanging. Piece several together to make a unique quilt top.

Easy Dresden Plate Ruler by EZ Quilting

Double-sided fusible webbing (Melanie suggests Steam-a-Seam or Wonder Under)

Sewing machine in good working order with power cord and foot control; quarter-inch foot for your sewing machine

Neutral thread for piecing; thread for top stitching, mono-poly works well; pins—patchwork or fine pins

Rotary cutter with sharp blade, acrylic ruler and small self-healing mat; basic sewing supplies— i.e. seam ripper, scissors, snips, chocolate, Band-Aids, etc.
